WEST Somerset residents are being warned about a parcel scam which could cost them £315 for a telephone call.
Royal Mail and Trading Standards are urging people to contact them if they receive a card through their door claiming to be from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service).
The card suggests the company was unable to deliver a parcel to the address and asks the resident to contact them on 0906 6611911 to arrange another delivery.
The number is a premium rate number and people calling it will be billed £315.
Anyone who receives a card from PDS quoting the 0906 number should call Royal Mail Fraud on 020 7239 6655.
