PORLOCK Pantomime and Drama Society is staging its pantomime, Ahmed and The Mummy, next week.

In Hilary Mackelden’s panto, Prince Ahmed is looking for the lost pyramid to try and lift the curse on his family. He meets the beautiful Opelia but can’t marry until the curse is lifted.

With her father and a group of heroes, he must overcome greedy robbers and a mummy to claim his true love.

The show runs from Thursday to Saturday (February 21-23) in Porlock Village Hall. It starts at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinée at 2.30pm.
