SOME 59 children plus parents and teachers from Old Cleeve First School took part in a three-kilometre Race for Life for Cancer Research UK. The sports crew from the school took on the important role of leading everyone in a warm-up before the children ran around the recreation field in Washford and along the Steam Coast Path. They raised a total of £1,314 for Cancer Research.
