WAYS in which Syrian refugees coming to Somerset can best be supported will be discussed at an open meeting in Minehead on Thursday (March 30).
He is closely involved and keen to widen the network of those supporting such families. Discussion will focus on what people in the Minehead area could do.
The meeting has been arranged by Christians Together in Minehead: “Many people in our area are already helping refugees in this country and abroad,” said chairman the Rev David Croucher.

“This meeting will give the chance to meet up and think what opportunities are open to us to show our support and to make those who have had to flee their homes feel welcome amongst us.”
Anyone interested will be very welcome at the meeting, which is at 7pm in the Quaker Meeting House in Bancks Street.
