‘Chief Grasskuteer’ Mark Walton said: “The aim is to cut the churchyard grass once a fortnight, each volunteer spending a maximum of two hours, three times a year, in teams of three people.
“The village and parochial church council greatly appreciate our efforts, maintaining the appearance of our lovely church and grounds.
“We have two well-maintained lawnmowers on site at the church and the teams are a mix of ladies and gentlemen.”
