SIR — I see that the New Year brings more fundraising activities by the Williton Village Hall Committee.
I find it astonishing that this committee continues to raise funds when it has squandered around £75,000 on a piece of land worth no more than £15,000.
Why are they continuing to raise money for a project that has little or no chance of success?
The people of Williton and beyond have been raising money for years and years with nothing to show for it except a chart in the local estate agent window and a bit of waste land on the edge of the rec.
