THE Rev Prebendary Angela Berners-Wilson - the first woman to have been ordained a priest in the Church of England - is the new rector of Quantock Towers Benefice.

She was inducted by the Bishop of Taunton, the Right Rev Ruth Worsley before a packed congregation including many friends from Bath where she was university chaplain.
