THE reception class at Knights Templar School, Watchet, celebrated the opening of its new outdoor patio play area.

The new area has room for children to play with wheeled toys safely and incorporates an undercover sand pit.

The area is an extension to the Knights' Playroom which was opened by Sir Ranulph Fiennes last year.

Sue Ellis, senior advisor for Early Years, and Kathy Sinclair, an area supervisor, performed the 'opening'.
