Minehead Tesco customers help charities feed thousands of families over Christmas The charity’s existing shop in The Avenue sells a range of clothes and general goods while the news store will stock a wide range of donated furniture as well as a selection of new products for the home and garden.
Manager Tamsin Smy-Smith said: “I’m aiming to build a friendly team who will help make our fabulous new store a hit with customers, knowing that their contribution is making a real difference to people and families facing a life-limiting illness in Somerset.
“Volunteering can be very rewarding and a great way to meet new people and gain useful experience. Anyone interested in joining our team can contact me to find out more.”
The recruitment day will be at the new shop from 11am to 4pm.
