ALLERFORD is organising its first Week of Music and Dance, starting with a barn dance with ploughman’s supper on Saturday (September 22).
A film, a cream tea and gospel concert are also lined up – as well as the first visit to Exmoor by the prestigious Cotswold morris side, Adderbury Village Morrismen.
Adderbury is one of a small number of Cotswold village sides whose music, songs and dances were collected by early 20th century musicologists Cecil Sharpe and Janet Blunt.
