VOLUNTEERS from the Minehead Wombles have helped town council amenities team members to spruce up a popular pathway.

They carried out a spring clean on the walkway between Morrisons supermarket and the West Somerset Railway Station car park.

A council spokesperson said: “Although not town council property, we are happy to pitch in where residents raise concerns about neglected areas.”
