THREE members of youth and community organisation Minehead Eye visited the House of Commons on Tuesday - one of only 20 agencies invited from around the country.

Community development manager Paul Matcham and youth workers Emily Hunter and Clare Chappel were invited on the special visit by Camelot, operators of the UK National Lottery, in recognition of Minehead Eye’s services to local young people.

Minehead Eye is about to open its seventh youth club, in Porlock – it already operates two clubs in Minehead and others in Carhampton, Williton, Watchet and Roadwater.

It either takes young people to Minehead Eye in a minibus to enjoy its amenities or goes out to the clubs with resources such as music and scooters.
