PORLOCK’S first Living Nativity was watched by nearly 80 people who braved inclement weather to see the Christmas story being enacted along the High Street.

The event, created by curate Ann Gibbs, included appropriate carols being sung along the way.

Ellie Dorrill loaned Ronnie the donkey to add authenticity to the procession, and 11-week-old Blake Short took the role of Baby Jesus in the stable which had been converted from the old Apple Press at  Porlock Visitor Centre.

Everyone involved then enjoyed refreshments at the Visitor Centre.
