The chairman of The Green and White Supporters' Club (GWSC) has branded anonymous campaigners "scumbags".
He also revealed that GWSC may bring legal action against two individuals allegedly involved in the campaign.
Yeovil Town are top of The Nationwide Conference but there are clearly a few problems off the pitch.
GWSC chairman George Coggen made his statements last week when GWSC held an extroadtinary general meeting and an annual meeting at Huish Park.
The EGM was over in little more than 10 minutes as it was agreed to turn GWSC into a registered company because of its rapid growth.
The AGM proved to be a more complicated affair. Mr Coggen said there had been a whispering campaign going on since last May to discredit the GWSC committee with allegations of money being "thieved".
Mr Coggen said he was sick to death of people posting anonymous allegations on the Internet.
He referred to one recent incident when an individual had "gobbed off" by claiming he would bring damaging documents as well as police to the AGM.
The matter has already been raised on the GWSC page in the matchday programme. In the programme for the Farnborough game on September 3rd, an unnamed GWSC member wrote: "Recently a few questions have been asked on Internet football forums and directly through the more traditional postal service about what the GWSC does with the money raised through our various activities.
"Some of you who attended the opening fixture of the season would have witnessed supporters' club chairman George Coggen handing over a cheque for £2,000 to YTFC, which was surprisingly ignored in this publication for the Nuneaton match."
Talking about committee members, Mr Coggen said last week: "We do not get a penny for expenses, we pay to come here. The scumbags are wrong saying we do it for our own benefit."
Clearly fired up, Mr Coggen also took time to describe vehicles used for away travel by other support organisations as "bangers", making a point of the fact that GWSC members travel on an executive coach.
Yeovil Town FC supremo John Fry, whose scheduled speech lasted 34 minutes, spoke in support of Mr Coggen.
During the EGM he described Mr Coggen as an extremely difficult man to work with.
"But his heart is in the right place and he gets the job done," Mr Fry said.
It was difficult to ascertain if some of Mr Fry's comments were meant as light-hearted or dead serious.
Mr Fry said he was hoping members would give the current committee a vote of confidence and the opportunity to carry on with its work.
That is exactly what happened. When the agenda had reached the item involving election of committee, it was declared that there were four vacancies and three nominations.
The nominees were briefly introduced before being voted, en bloc, onto the committee.
l Mr Coggen also took the opportunity to declare war on the local press.
Before the meeting he accused a reporter stood next to him of only turning up when there was bad news to report. Finishing off the tirade, he accused the reporter's absent colleague of having twisted a recent story.
At the start of the EGM, Mr Coggen made a remark that it was unusual for the press to turn up at the club's meetings, saying he hoped reports would be made "in the proper manner".
During proceedings he listed a number of GWSC achievements before, sarcastically, asking one reporter in the crowd: "Did you get that, Mr press man?"
