THE Periwinkle Tearoom in Selworthy is set to remain closed until May while the National Trust looks for a new catering manager to take over the café.

The trust is inviting applications for the position from experienced managers via website and, until a suitable applicant is found, the tea rooms will remain closed.

Mel Worman, visitor experience and events manager, said: “We will still be holding our annual Easter egg hunt at Selworthy Green on Good Friday with takeaway tea and coffee available.
