SIR — How lovely was your story of the little boy now being able to swim due to the help of some dedicated people (Free Press May 15).

This is something we take for granted.

J Laflin is quite wrong (Your Letters May 22) - there is no doubt about your editorial judgement in putting the story on the front page.

MP Ian Liddell-Grainger is entitled to claim expenses with his family home being in Somerset, and I know he works tirelessly for anyone getting a raw deal under government legislation.

Thank heavens for the Free Press and our MP. They are both doing excellent jobs.
