Local people, including boat owners, were asked for their reactions to the latest designs for the East Quay Foundry Project during a series of workshops organised by the Onion Collective social enterprise regeneration company, which has masterminded the project for the last two years.
“Recent feedback has led to changes in design and we wanted to discuss these with local people before they became more firmly developed,” said Onion Collective director Georgie Grant.
“This is an ambitious development for Watchet and we want local people to be proud of it and excited by its potential to bring jobs and visitors to the town.”
