A WILLITON-based computer services whiz-kid is one of 30 top professionals picked out by a national magazine as a “wonderfully exciting young talent”.
James Forbes, 22, cloud services and website manager of Edward Martin Computer Services, is one of “the IT crowd” of under 30s selected by PCR computer magazine as future industry leaders.
“I was very surprised to see my name included,” James said.
“I love what I do and if my enthusiasm rubs off on colleagues and customers, that’s great.”
His boss, Edward Martin, said: “In the three years he has been with us, James has transformed the cloud services offered by the company.”
“His enthusiasm for new projects is infectious, which rubs off on other members of the team and keeps up standards and morale.
“But his great gift is being able to explain highly technical developments in terms lay people can understand and they really appreciate that.”
He added: “James has really managed change, taking owners and staff with him on an exciting journey to secure and build the company for the future.
“We’re delighted that he’s been picked as one of the best young talents. He certainly deserves it.”
