SIR — After all the correspondence concerning the lifting and re-arranging of the Dunster paving cobbles, and most of it not in favour of such action, how well the work has been carried out.

I saw the completed work for the first time last week and believe a better job could not have been done.

For some of those who were concerned about it all, and have so far been unable to see the result, the new pavement is very aesthetic, easier to walk on, and the cobbles are still there on the side.

Actually, it's just perfect!
