SIR — I would like to express sincere thanks to the idiot who damaged my car which was parked in the Killick Way car park in Williton on Monday (September 27) between 11am and 1.45pm.

Can I just say it is going to cost me £200 in excess and lots of inconvenience and time to have it repaired.

It was so thoughtful of you to drive off without leaving your details. You obviously do not have a conscience!

Hopefully, with help from West Somerset Council's CCTV footage, they may be able to confirm the identity of this inconsiderate person.

Whoever you are, you obviously think that it is okay to go and damage someone else's property and drive away.
