Following the sell-outs of Magic of the Musicals, Oliver and Cats!, the award winning (several David Beach awards) local group ‘Fusion Young Performers’ comes to the Regal Theatre, Minehead, to perform Legally Blonde the Musical, on the April 10-15, under the new name ‘Fusion Performers’ and under the new direction, the two incredible young directors Anna Ross and Darcy Ahern.
A fabulously fun musical based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde the Musical follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery, and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.
It tells the story of Elle Woods a sorority girl who appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside-down, however, when her boyfriend dumps her so he can start getting serious about his life and attend Harvard Law.

Determined to get him back, Elle uses her charm to get into Harvard Law. At school she struggles with peers, professors, and Warner Huntington. With the help of Paulette andEmmett, though, Elle quickly realises her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.With an upbeat score, young local talent, memorable songs and a stage full of pink, it would be illegal to miss it!
Legally Blonde the Musical is an amateur production presented by arrangement with Music TheatreInternational. All authorised performance materials are also supplied by MTI.This promises to be a spectacular performance and a wonderful opportunity to showcase some of the incredible local talent that Minehead has to offer as well as supporting the town's community theatre that, like so many, is struggling with the current economical climate.
