SIR — Over the weekend my grandmother had an incident at her home in Minehead.
I would like to thank everyone involved with the Community Lifeline. With out this service my grandmother, who lives on her own, would not have been able to access any help.
The staff working the lifeline contacted me as they believed there may be a problem. On my arrival, I found my grandmother in need of help and the staff on the lifeline were still trying to make contact and were very caring.
I called for an ambulances and the guy on the phone told me we could have to wait up to an hour for assistance, but thankfully assistance turned up within five minutes and the crew were amazing, along with my mother who was fantastic.
