While walking my dog through a near deserted Watchet on Saturday morning, I noticed a traffic warden issuing tickets to parked cars.

In this time of crisis is this the local council’s priority? Maybe checking on elderly self-isolating people would be of more use. But of course that will not fill the coffers.

This area is going to need help due to the lack of visitors, and issuing parking tickets in a near empty town will only discourage people from visiting.
