The exhibition is the culmination of a collaboration between school pupils and members of the local University of the Third Age (U3A).
Earlier this year U3A members met pupils and toured the school as part of a biography project, which aimed to bring both younger and older members of the community together.
Now the students have put together an exhibition of their work, illustrating the life stories of their U3A 'heroes'.

He said: "There were some truly inspiring stories and our pupils had a real surprise."
