Children from Knights Templar School have been regularly visiting the residents at Ingrams Meadow to build relationships between the generations and to raise awareness of dementia.
Richard Cross, extra care scheme manager at Magna Housing, said: “Our elderly residents really enjoy the visits from the children.
“This month they all sang Christmas carols together, which was really lovely for everyone involved.
“As it is such a valuable project for the community, our residents donated £200 so that local schools could continue to learn about dementia.”
