Spokesperson Jayne Cornish said: “Cakes were distributed to the departments to show the appreciation of staff who have worked through the pandemic and held the hospital together.
“It has been a very challenging year and teams have pulled together to provide a united front helping and covering departments whenever there were shortages.”
The hospital would like to thank all staff past and present, patients and the community who continue to support it.
