MINEHEAD Ladies Hockey Club held a Zumbathon on Saturday October 28 and raised £174.50 for the club and local charity Elliot’s Touch.
The two-hour session was run by the ladies’ captain, Vicky Perkins, and was followed by lunch provided by chairman Jan Weetch.
Daisy Bishop won the prize for best dancer – and shirt designer. The club wishes to thank all who supported the event in any way.
Vicky is running Zumba sessions at Washford Village Hall between 6pm and 7pm starting last Tuesday (November 7). Anyone wishing to try the fitness routine for the first time is welcome.
