OLD footpath and bridleway signs on Exmoor are being sold by the national park authority (ENPA) to raise funds for its charity CareMoor for Exmoor.

The signs, made by the park’s fields service team from wood grown on Exmoor, feature names of places such as Withypool and Tarr Steps and range in price from £30 to £100.

The ‘retired’ signs, which have been replaced, are being sold through the National Park Centre in Dulverton and have to be collected by purchasers.

An ENPA spokesperson said: “By purchasing one, you are buying a slice of history, wonderful memories of your visit, and helping fund our ongoing conservation and access work through CareMoor for Exmoor.

“These are only available at our Dulverton National Park Centre.

“Unfortunately, no holding or postage available.”
