I was so pleased to read the article by Sue Mitchinson (Free Press August 17) on the heroic contribution of horses during World War One and the work of the Brooke Charity in highlighting this via their Every Horse Remembered campaign.

As a recent supporter of the work of the Brooke’s Exmoor Group, raising funds to improve the lives of over two million working horses, donkeys and mules in third world countries and improve the lives of the people who depend on them for their livelihood, I know the Exmoor Group would love to hear from anyone interested in helping.
