A NEW dental practice is opening its doors in Bishops Lydeard tomorrow (Saturday) following extensive renovations, and residents are invited to tour the new facilities before the official opening date.

Church House Dental Clinic, in West Street, will hold an open day from 10am to 3pm when prospective patients can learn about the latest techniques and treatments on offer and enter a prize draw to win a top-of-the-range electric toothbrush.

Principal dentist and practice owner Dr Sonika Burger said: “We have been working really hard to prepare the practice over the past few months and we’re very proud of what we have achieved.

“It’s a great opportunity for visitors to discover the range and quality of services we offer. The day will include demonstrations of how we can take digital impressions, manufacture crowns in our own laboratory on the premises, cosmetic treatments, and more.”

Dr Burger decided to open her new practice after living in the village with her family for just over three and a half years.

And she said that, when it opens, Church House Dental Clinic will be the only dental practice in the area able to offer check-ups, restorative and cosmetic dentistry to the local residents and beyond.
