THE weather may be stuck in winter but youngsters at Minehead First School celebrated the season with a parade of Easter bonnets.

Reception year pupils from the Ladybirds and Busy Bees classes sang a medley of spring-time songs before showing off their talents as budding milliners to an audience of family and friends.

Bunnies, chicks, painted eggs, lambs and spring flowers adorned the bonnets.

A school spokesman said: "All the children made their own Easter bonnets, which looked absolutely fantastic."
