A BOUNTIFUL harvest from the Friends and Family Community Allotment in Harepark Terrace, Alcombe, provided a bumper lunch as part of a 'Get Set, Grow and Cook' event organised by Transition Minehead and Alcombe.

Specialists from Incredible Edibles Somerset joined forces with allotment volunteers to give advice on how to get the best from the plot before cooking up a seasonal treat for lunch.

There was also plenty of help on offer on how best to use up and preserve the glut of fruit and vegetables found at this time of year.
