A MAN found dead outside Minehead’s Lidl supermarket last month has been named as Polish national Kamil Mroz, aged 39.
Inquest proceedings which began earlier in the week revealed he died of a brain aneurysm which caused a haemorrhage after falling from the supermarket roof.
Mr Mroz was found on May 16 by Lidl staff arriving to start a shift at 5 am and was declared dead at the scene after efforts by paramedics to save him.
He had been staying in nearby Butlin’s holiday resort, where his son, Viktor, aged nine, was taking part in a football tournament.

A GoFundMe appeal to support his partner Izabela Borek has raised more than £8,600 toward a £10,000 target.
The appeal was started by family friend Dana Klistinec, who said: “Because of your kindness, Izabela can focus on comforting Maya and Viktor, keeping up with rent, and ensuring the kids can stay in their football training and normal routines without immediate financial terror.
”Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for continuing to wrap this beautiful family in love, strength, and support.
“We are forever grateful to our football family and the wider community.
“The outpouring of love, kindness, and generosity over the last few days has been absolutely overwhelming.
“To everybody who has donated so far, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
“Because of your incredible support, we are well on our way to easing the financial burden on Kamil’s partner and children during the darkest days of their lives.
“You are helping us ensure his beautiful kids are looked after, just as Kamil always ensured they were.

“Your kindness has brought a glimmer of light to a completely devastating situation, and Kamil’s family is deeply moved by the support of this community.”
Ms Klistinec said Mr Mroz, from Parkstone, in Poole, Dorset, would be taken back to Poland for his funeral.
She said: “We are working closely with the family to ensure everything is handled with the utmost dignity, respect, and love.
“Because it happened so instantly and without warning, it has made this profound loss all the more devastating for everybody who knew and loved him.
“Kamil was, without a doubt, one of the funniest, kindest, and most selfless people you could ever meet.
“He was a superhero of a dad and beloved husband, who did it all, cooking, cleaning, and driving the kids to every single activity, always cheering them on and helping them achieve their goals.
“But, he was not just a dedicated dad and great spouse, he was the life and soul of our football community.”
Mr Mroz helped to run his local South Coast Ballers youth football club, which was founded last year and for which his son plays in the under-10s team.
The club said in a statement Mr Mroz’s death while attending the Minehead football tournament had ‘shattered hearts’ of its members.
A spokesperson said his death had ‘left his family and our entire community completely devastated’.
