FIRE crews from across the district were called to a heath fire at Ellicombe just after midday on Friday. Four pumping appliances and six specialist appliances, including a Supercat from Porlock and a Brendan pump from Dulverton, were called to the blaze. Crews from Minehead, Porlock, Dulverton, Lynton, Williton and Bridgwater tackled the fire using beaters and specialist equipment.
