FIVE Stogumber residents will be showing off many rare and unusual plants when they take part in the National Gardens Scheme tomorrow (Sunday, June 16).
Three of the open gardens are in the village centre and two others are on the outskirts, and all are of a generous size. All have disabled access and allow dogs on leads.
Conditions range from water-logged clay to well-drained sand. Features include a walled garden, ponds, bog gardens, rockery, vegetable and fruit gardens, and a collection of over 80 roses.
Home-made teas will be available in the village hall. There is plentiful free parking, and signs from the A358 and B3224.
Opening times are 2pm to 6pm. Admission £5 adults, free for children under 14.
