As an ex-London and Minehead fireman, I have been asked by Minehead Museum to compile a small display of the Minehead Fire Brigade for their 2019 Emergency Services theme.

I wonder if any of your readers have any information, anecdotes or photographs relating to the fire brigade in Minehead from 1890 onwards?

I have been working on this for several months, and having discovered a wealth of information, it is proving to be a fascinating story of the development of how the town, and its need for a fire brigade, grew together.
