A MOTORCYCLIST who died after falling off his bike on the A396 at Timberscombe last Wednesday afternoon has been named as Adrian Barber, 64, from Bridgwater.

Mr Barber's family said he was a devoted grandfather and father of three.

In a statement they said: "His most recent hobby was his new Matchless motorcycle which was his pride and joy.

"It was the same make and model his father had owned in the 1960s and had brought back many happy memories for him."

Mr Barber died when he came off his motorbike on a downhill section of Cutcombe Hill and was in collision with another biker who was travelling in the same direction.

Police officers are still keen to hear from witnesses or anyone who can help with the investigation.
