A WEST Somerset country pub badly damaged by fire nearly two years ago re-opened last Sunday to a warm welcome from locals.

Tim Young, who owns the pub with Jane Bishop, said: “It’s great to be open again and it was good to see all the locals coming back. Everyone liked the look of the new bar.”
The rebuild includes a new dining area and kitchen, an extended bar and improved toilets and disabled facilities.
