THE inclement summer weather set a few challenges for participants in this year’s Exford and Simonsbath District Flower and Produce Show and Fete.

Exford was brimming with people from the area and a healthy number of curious visitors, who enjoyed a few of the latest classes to be added such as the oddest shaped vegetable.
The well-attended event was opened by Stanley Johnson, who also presented the cups with great enthusiasm.
