SIR — There have been many changes over the years, not least at the building in Hopcott Road once known as the Alcombe Evangelical Church. This same building is now a family and youth centre named The Hub and has been operating most successfully for just over a year. It has a soft play area for children, a coffee bar and other areas for different occasions. It is an excellent facility and is well worth a visit. Looking back over 70 years or so, and later, anyone who would have attended the Sunday School Covenanters or any of the various clubs and youth activities held there is warmly invited to an informal reunion at The Hub for coffee and cake on Friday June 13 at 10.30am. Come and see the changes at The Hub, meet each other in the coffee bar and talk over the old days!
