COMPLAINTS about anti-social behaviour are putting the police spotlight on the Ellicombe estate in Minehead. People say there has been a rise in anti-social behaviour and criminal damage as well as an ongoing problem of untaxed and illegally parked vehicles. Now local community beat and support officers have decided to pay particular attention to the estate over the coming weeks. Minehead Inspector Nic Crocker said: "Quite rightly, the community are getting fed up with a small number of persons who believe that they can do what they like, often to the detriment of the quality of life for those people that live on the estate. "We will not tolerate this and over the coming weeks officers will patrol the estate and take positive action against those found breaking the law."
