THE Exmoor Producers Association Shop in Minehead, which is closing next month, held a free to enter raffle to celebrate its 17 years of bringing locally made goods to the people of West Somerset.

Each of the 19 current members contributed something which they had made, and all the items were put into a trug basket specially made by one of the shop’s founder members, Patrick Clothier.

Winner Audrey Beach is pictured receiving the prize from shop chairman Phil Taphouse.

As previously reported, the Exmoor Producers Association decided to wind up after a recent meeting due to very difficult trading conditions over the past few years.

Mr Taphouse said: “It will be a very sad day for us when we close the door for the final time on January 13.

“However, we are determined to celebrate what we have achieved over the past 17 years, and the raffle was our way of saying thank you to our many loyal customers.”
