ACTOR Benedict Cumberbatch will be appearing in Watchet next week – on a screen in Knights Templar School.

Cumberbatch stars in Watchet Community Cinema’s next screening, ‘The Roses’, at 7 pm on Friday, December 5.

He plays Theo, an acclaimed architect whose career is on fire, while Olivia Colman is Ivy, a chef whose work is largely unappreciated by the locals.

Things flip one fateful evening as Theo has to cope with loss of his status, becoming a stay-at-home dad scraping dog poo off the lawn and treating the children for head lice.

Meanwhile, his power-play wife is opening a string of successful eateries and posing for New York Magazine.
