BBC Radio 4’s flagship Friday evening ‘Any Questions’ show is to be hosted in West Somerset next week.

The topical discussion programme will be broadcast live from the Victory Hall, Stogursey, at 8 pm on August 22.

Villagers can register for free tickets to attend and put questions to the panel members, who comprise prominent figures from the worlds of politics, the media, and other fields, whose names should be released at the end of this week.

‘Any Questions’ was first broadcast in 1948 and currently attracts an audience of about 1.59 million listeners each week.

Anybody with tickets to attend the Stogursey event needs to arrive between 6.30 pm and 7.15 pm, when they will be given question cards to complete.
