AN ORGAN recital will be taking place at St John’s Parish Church, Wellington, in support of the Organ Maintenance and Improvement Fund.

John Young will be performing at the church on Saturday, November 1, starting at 3pm.

Admissions to his performance are donation based, whether that be through cash or card, with all proceeds raised being donated to the fund.

Until last year, Mr Young was the St John Church’s director of music, but now has a post with Salisbury Cathedral. However, he now returns to play a programme which he has titled ‘Pulling Out All The Stops’.

Lasting roughly one hour, the concert will be followed by tea and cake to which everyone is invited.
