TEN gardens in Winsford will be open to the public on Saturday, July 5, to raise funds for St Margaret’s Hospice.

The annual event includes everything from quintessential cottage gardens with roses around the door to wild and natural spaces, small and large, manicured and untamed.

A spokesperson said: “There is a wonderful selection of gardens to explore.”

Last year, more than £2,000 was raised for the charity and visitors came from as far away as Torquay and Poole.

A map and further information will be available in Winsford Village Hall, where a plant sale will be held and homemade light refreshments provided. Toilets and parking will be available.

The event is from 11 am to 4 pm, with £5 tickets covering all gardens, and under-16s free.
