PEOPLE are being encouraged to “come and be inspired” by a Somerset Buddhist group’s senior teacher.
The Bodhicharya Buddhist Group (BBG), has been meeting regularly at Minehead’s Townsend House for almost 19 years, and is now set to welcome Tsering Paldron to the venue for a special teaching.
Following the appointment of Dame Sarah Mullally as the first female Archbishop of Canterbury, Cait Collins from BBG said it was “good to see women at last coming to the fore” in different patriarchal religious systems.
Cait added: “Tsering Paldron will guide us in exploring how to open our hearts more fully, deepen compassion, and bring the practice of Bodhichitta into everyday life.”
The event on November 1 and 2 runs from 11am to 3.30pm. Visit: www.bodhicharya.org/uk
