PROM night for year 11 pupils of Kingsmead Academy, Wiveliscombe, was held this year in Oake Manor Golf Course.

The evening saw a huge variety of modes of transport as students arrived for a three-course meal followed by a disco and a photobooth.

It was pretty in purple for this Kingsmead Academy student arriving for prom night 2026.

Travel arrangements included tractors, horses, motorbikes, Army vehicles, Aston Martin and Lamborghini cars, quads, mini motorbikes, and trikes.

Assistant headteacher Anna Cox said: “Thank you to Oake for co-ordinating the arrivals and the event.

“Our wonderful students had a well-deserved celebration to mark the end of a year of hard work and determination.

“They were a credit to Kingsmead with a magnificent array of modes of transport and amazing prom outfits.

“It was a pleasure to spend the evening marking the occasion with them.”
