Carhampton public house reopened as four generations of family return to rootsThey went on a trip to Lyme Regis, which is on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, to meet palaeontologist Steve Davis and go fossil hunting on the beach and visit the town’s fossil shop.
They then welcomed author Professor P - alias fossil hunter, dinosaur enthusiast and inventor Peter J Davidson – to the school, and he showed the class his extensive fossil collection and read from his book Professor P and the Jurassic Island.
