Minehead Tesco customers help charities feed thousands of families over Christmas Walk to School Wednesday is a national event that aims to encourage more people to walk to school but and seeks to promote pedestrian safety around schools.
Two groups of children and adults set off from Carhampton and Minehead at 8.10am before meeting at the bottom of Dunster Steep to complete the walk to school.
Altogether 110 children from the school and 35 adults took part in the walk. They were joined by a number of pre-school aged children and several pet dogs.
